Outreach to those in need Minimize

Meeting the Need Minimize

Respect Life Ministry - The Respect Life Ministry has create a new web a page to provide resources and information in support of life.  St. Susanna Parish will be participating in the 40 Days for Life during Lent by praying on Fridays at the abortion center in Kettering, Ohio.  See our new web page for more information.

Thanks to all of our parishioners who donated toward our Valentine Collection.  Many children had the chance to share their love thanks to your generosity.

Working toward Change Minimize

  Did you know...

3.5% of people living in Mason live below the poverty level.

In 2007, Cincinnati was ranked third among the top ten cities with the highest poverty rate. At that time 27.8 % of people in Cincinnati lived below the poverty level.

Beyond our efforts at meeting the immediate needs, we are challenged to take the next step by learning and addressing the causes and underlying issues of poverty. You can start below -

Peace & Justice Minimize

The Peace & Justice Commission invites the parish to works of charity and justice. The commission educates the faithful about Catholic social teaching and coordinates material assistance for the poor, cooperative relationships with sister parishes, and opportunities for social action.  The links to the left of this page provide information regarding needs for the Network of Care as well as service projects and ministries under the St. Susanna Peace & Justice Commission.

The commission meets the fourth Sunday of the month.

Contact Mary Rader, 398-3137, for more information.
