RECENT PARISH HISTORY

Return to Parish Timeline

(Written in 1999) On December 6, 1990 our new church building on Southwest Street was dedicated.  This church has a seating capacity of 900 and many times there is standing room only.  The Parish Center was added in August 1994.  At the present time the parish is spiritually healthy and socially alive.  St. Susanna Parish is now being served by a pastor, a weekend associate, 4 deacons, plus 9 pastoral staff members, 6 support staff personnel, 4 person maintenance team, the faculty and staff of our Parish School, and many, many volunteers. We have 2,550 families registered, 1,100 children enrolled in CFP from Early Childhood to 6th Grade, 200 children in Junior High Religious Education, 50 youth in our High School Program, 436 children enrolled in our parish school grades 1-8.  At our youth social events, we have 100+ teens in attendance. We have 162 organizations within our community of faith.

And, we are still growing... As we prepare for our future ministry, we are working in collaboration with three other parishes: St. Michael in Sharonville, St. John in West Chester and St. Maximilian Kolbe.
