The St. Susanna School Commission seeks several new members to serve three-year terms beginning in September 2023. The purpose of the School Commission is to advise and collaborate with school administrators and the pastor about issues related to the quality and mission of the school. The School Commission's focuses include supporting the academic mission of St. Susanna School, identifying and addressing the needs of the school and parish community, maintaining and improving school facilities, improving communication with current and prospective school families and promoting the overall mental, physical and emotional health of students. The commission currently consists of nine members and is comprised of three committees including: Academics, Communication and Marketing, and Enrollment and Retention.
If you are interested in being considered for a position, please provide responses to the questions below and a resume to Paula Schaefer at schaferpm@gmail.com no later than April 1st. Interviews will be held the evening of April 17th.
Upon submission of your responses and resume, you will be contacted to set up an interview the evening of April 17th with members of the current School Commission.
New members will be invited to attend the school commission meetings starting Monday, May 8th, 2023. School Commission typically meets the 2nd Monday of each month from 6:30-8:30pm. Please consider your ability to consistently attend meetings when applying.

The School Commission has most currently been working with school administrators and the pastor to advise on COVID-19 protocols and communication.
