Parish Garage Sale -
The largest event held each year by the Women's Association is the Parish Garage Sale. St. Susanna's Women's Association has sponsored this Garage Sale for over 35 years. It is usually held in June in the Meyer Center. It is a huge undertaking, requiring countless hours for planning the sale, recruiting volunteers, receiving donations, pricing merchandise, holding the sale, and cleaning up when the sale is over. We need your help to make future garage sales even more successful. Save us your items for donations, volunteer to help with the sale, and come shop at the sale!
Baptismal Bibs -
The Women's Association coordinates making of all Baptismal Bibs that are given to the infants of the parish during the Sacrament of Baptism. These bibs are handmade white garments, embroidered with the Chi Rho symbol. The volunteers cut the white material, trace the designs, embroider the symbol and letters and sew the lace edging. Packets of materials and supplies are available from the Parish Office.
Food Pantry at the Schuh Center -
The Women's Association provides $50 per month towards the purchase of food and sundries as determined by the volunteer leader of the Food Pantry located in the Schuh Center.
