School Supply Drive

When families struggle to make rent and buy groceries, school supplies just can’t be a priority.  Our goal is to be able to help those families with school-aged children to start the school year off right by having the supplies they need.  This will increase their self-esteem and hopefully empower our children to be successful in school. Please place school supply donations by the Peace and Justice Kiosk in the Gathering Space by Friday, August 2nd.

ADULT & YOUTH volunteers are needed to sort the donated items July 31st at 11:00am in the Schuh Center and August 2nd at 10:30in the School Cafeteria.

ADULT volunteers are needed to set up, provide assistance to shoppers and tear down on August 3rd from 8:30am to 12:30pm in the School Cafeteria.

The School Supply Shopping Day is a By Invitation Only Event. Those who are invited to shop are the families associated with the Schuh Center and any St. Susanna parishioner who needs assistance at this time. Those who would like to come on August 3rd to shop for school supplies can receive an invitation by contacting Teresa Bolte at rbolte_754@fuse.net or by visiting the Schuh Center Food Pantry when it is open (Tues, Wed and Fri 9:00-11:00am).
