Becoming Catholic

We welcome many guests and visitors to St. Susanna and especially welcome those who may be thinking about becoming Catholic.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the ordinary way the Church reaches out to adults who inquire about the Catholic faith. If you feel drawn to the Catholic faith, we invite you to join us.

If you feel drawn to the Catholic faith, we invite you to join us! Participants inquire into the Catholic faith, come to know Jesus through the Gospels, pray and prepare for the Easter Sacraments. This process is also open to Catholic adults who have not received the Sacraments of First Communion or Confirmation.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC) is for children in 3rd-12th Grades who have not been baptized, or who are baptized in another Christian denomination.  It is also for older children who are baptized in the Catholic faith but were never prepared for Reconciliation, Eucharist or Confirmation.

These classes are designed to educate children in the Catholic faith and prepare them for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil. Whether your family is just entering the Church, returning to the practice of the Catholic faith, or delayed your child’s sacramental preparation, all are welcome.
