2024 Box of Joy
St. Susanna Parish is once again supporting Cross Catholic Outreach’s Box of Joy Program — For Children Who Wish for Just One Gift. Send a Christmas blessing that says, “God loves you, and so do I!”
Cross Catholic Outreach is a wonderful Catholic ministry that helps children and families living in extreme poverty. Their Box of Joy outreach program provides children with a shoe box filled with Christmas gifts that, for many of them, is the only Christmas gift they may receive. Packing Box of Joy gifts connects participants in the U.S. with Christ’s Greatest Commandment to love one another. It teaches generosity and thankfulness and allows believers to connect deeply with Jesus’ heart for the poor.
Box of Joy is an extension of our Church’s mission and becomes a tool in God’s hands, a way to lift the Gospel and bless others in Christ’s name and for his glory.
646,163 children in 9 countries have been blessed with a Box of Joy! 6,000+ parishes, schools, and groups have participated. The nine countries served are the Bahamas, Haiti, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Grenada, and Malawi.
