2026 Box of Joy
St. Susanna Parish is once again supporting Cross Catholic Outreach’s Box of Joy Program — For Children Who Wish for Just One Gift. Send a Christmas blessing that says, “God loves you, and so do I!”
Cross Catholic Outreach serves children and families in extreme poverty. Its Box of Joy ministry invites schools, parishes, and families to pack gifts that make a material and spiritual impact on children in developing countries. The program connects U.S. participants with Christ’s commandment to love one another, extending the Church’s mission by sharing the Gospel and blessing others in Christ’s name.
To date, 915,889 children in 10 countries have received a Box of Joy, with more than 8,000 parishes, schools, and groups taking part. Countries served include the Bahamas, Haiti, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Grenada, Malawi, and Peru.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Screen Boxes in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Room from 9:00-10:30/11:00am on Mondays, October 26th, November 2nd, and November 9th
- Set up for the St. Susanna School BOJ Packing Event in the Meyer Center on Thursday, November 5th from 10:00am-12:00pm
- Assist during the School BOJ Packing Event (restocking tables, interacting with student/families, clean up) in the Meyer Center on Thursday, November 5th from 5:30-8:30pm.
- Community Collection Weekend (receive Box of Joy Boxes from the Community) in the Meyer Center on Saturday, November 14th from 9:00am-12:00pm, and 12:00-3:00pm.
