Youth formation programs at St. Susanna combine faith formation, parental support, and enrichment opportunities to support the whole family’s growth in their Catholic faith.
Early Childhood Program (ECP) for ages 3-Kindergarten takes place on Sundays, during the 9:30am Mass. During this time, children learn about our Catholic faith and engage with their peers through crafts and group activities.
The Children’s Formation Program (CFP) for 1st-8th graders is devoted to developing and supporting strong Catholic families at St.Susanna. CFP is intended for children who do not attend a Catholic Grade School.
All 9th-12th graders are welcome to join us for Youth Group on Sundays from 5:00-6:30pm in the St. John Bosco Youth Room.
Sacramental Preparation
Children in 2nd grade will receive Sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion. Children in 7th grade will receive Sacramental preparation for Confirmation. There will be an additional parent meeting and retreat for each of these sacraments.
Children's Liturgy of the Word (Ages 4-Grade 1)
CLOW gathers young children for an age appropriate experience of sacred scripture during the Sunday 9:30am and 11:30am Masses on most weekends from Late October through April. We sing and hear God's word in an environment that is joyful for children. The program will guide children from mass to Our Lady of Guadalupe room during the mass readings. The students will, on their own, go back to their parents' seats before communion.
No registration required for CLOW.
