2026-27 CFP Information
Families will register for one or the other of the following session options:
- Sundays, 10:45am-Noon
- Mondays, 5:45-7:00pm
Classes and meetings will be held in either the Meyer Center and at St. Susanna School.
Early Bird Pricing (for payments made through July 31, 2026): $100 per child
Tuition: $120 per child
Family Max: There is a CFP Family Max of $300 per family (does not include additional Sacramental Prep Fees)
No one will be denied Religious Education due to financial hardship. Payment arrangements can be made through the Parish Office. If you are unable to afford any or all of your child(ren)’s fees, please let us know. We guarantee confidentiality.
Children's Formation Program Information
CFP helps parents and children grow together as disciples of Jesus Christ. Recognizing that parents are the primary educators of the faith, our program partners with families by providing engaging catechesis, meaningful prayer experiences, and practical ways to live the Catholic faith at home.

Throughout the year, families gather for a combination of Parent & Child Sessions and Child Only Sessions.
Parent & Child Sessions
At least one parent or guardian must attend these sessions with their child. Parents participate in a formation session in the Meyer Center while children attend age-appropriate catechesis in the School. These sessions strengthen parents in their role as the first teachers of the faith and provide practical ways to continue faith formation at home.
Child Only Sessions
Only the Children are required to attend catechesis on these dates.
At-Home Faith Formation
Faith formation is a journey that extends beyond our time together on campus. During the weeks when classes do not meet, families are asked to guide their child(ren) through the provided at-home lesson. These sessions offer a meaningful opportunity to pray, learn, and grow together, helping children see that the Catholic faith is lived not only in the parish but also within the home.
Parents are the first and most important teachers of the faith. By sharing these lessons together, families strengthen their relationship with Christ and help nurture a lifelong love of God and His Church.
Volunteer Opportunities
Help share the gift of faith with the next generation! Whether you’re called to serve as a Catechist, classroom assistant, Atrium volunteer, or in another support role, your time and presence can make a lasting impact.
You don’t need to have all the answers—just a willingness to walk alongside our children as they grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We provide training, resources, and support to help you every step of the way.
If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to serve your parish, we invite you to prayerfully consider joining our Faith Formation ministry. Together, we can help children come to know, love, and follow Christ.
- Catechists are needed for grades 1-8
- Aides are needed in 1st-4th grade classrooms. High school students can earn service hours.
- Substitutes: Are you willing to step in if a catechist is absent?
- Atrium Attendant: monitors the Atrium and assists with contacting absentees.
Sacramental Prep
CFP incorporates Sacramental Preparation as children continue to grow in their relationship with Christ.
Families preparing to celebrate these sacraments will receive additional information regarding meetings, fees, retreats, liturgical celebrations, and other preparation requirements.
Second Grade children prepare for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
Eighth Grade children participate in the parish’s preparation process for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Dear Parents and Families,
Welcome to St. Susanna’s Children’s Formation Program (CFP)! We are grateful for the trust you place in our parish as we work together to help your children grow in their Catholic faith.
As parents, you have a unique and important role in your child’s faith journey. From the day of your child’s Baptism, you became their primary teachers in the faith. While the Church provides catechists, religious instruction, and opportunities to celebrate the Sacraments, the faith you live and practice at home has the greatest impact on your child. Children learn most deeply by watching and imitating the adults who guide them. Our goal as a parish is to support and encourage you in this important responsibility. To help your family grow in faith, we invite you to:
- Attend Sunday Mass regularly – Worship with our parish community each week and allow your children to witness your love for the Lord.
- Pray together as a family – Develop a habit of daily prayer, whether through a simple blessing before meals, a decade of the Rosary, or another family prayer.
- Engage with the faith formation curriculum – Reinforce what your children are learning by discussing lessons at home and participating in family events offered through the program.
- Live the sacramental life of the Church – Participate fully in the Sacraments, including Baptism, Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist, Confirmation, Marriage, or Convalidation of Marriage when needed.
The sacramental life of your family is a powerful witness of faith for your child throughout their CFP journey. Through the grace of the Sacraments, our homes become domestic churches—places of faith, hope, and love where we encounter God in everyday life and share His light with others. My prayer is that the Lord continues to draw your family closer to Jesus Christ and His Church through these gifts of grace.
