School Supply Drive

When families are struggling to make ends meet, school supplies often take a backseat. Our goal is to help families with school-aged kids by providing the essentials they need to start the school year off right. This can give them a boost in self-esteem and help our kids succeed in school. Please drop off your school supply donations at the Peace and Justice Kiosk in the Gathering Space by Friday, August 1st.

ADULT AND YOUTH volunteers are needed to sort donations:

  • Wednesday, July 30th, 11:00am-12:30pm in the Schuh Center
  • Friday, August 1st, 10:30am-Noon in the School Cafeteria

ADULT volunteers are needed to set up, provide assistance to shoppers and tear down Saturday, August 2nd, 9:00am-12:30pm in the School Cafeteria.

The School Supply Shopping Day is a by invitation only.
Those who are invited to shop are the families associated with the Schuh Center and any St. Susanna parishioner who needs assistance at this time.

Those who would like to come on August 2nd to shop for school supplies can receive an invitation by visiting the Schuh Center Food Pantry when it is open (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9:00-11:00am) or by contacting Karen Mathews at rkanj2005@yahoo.com.
