Christmas in July
The Giving Tree Ministry is hosting a “Christmas in July” Collection for St. Joseph SVdP Conference, Adams Co., and St. George Food Pantry in Clifton. Please place donations on the marked table in the Gathering Space June 6th-28th.
Suggested Items: (Regular-sized containers are preferred, rather than family size, as the larger ones are heavy for the patrons to carry.)
- Laundry Soap (Powder, Liquid, or Pods)
- Fabric Softener Sheets
- Dish Liquid
- Spray Cleaner
- Disinfectant Wipes
- Paper Towels
- Toilet Paper
- Body Wash
- Toothpaste and Toothbrush
- Disposable Razors
- 2-in-1 Shampoo/Conditioner
- Tampons
- Sanitary Pads
- Deodorant
Financial donations are also being collected to purchase gift cards for neighbors in need at the two agencies. Donations can be made online by clicking here!
Volunteers are needed on Monday, June 29th, from 9:00-11:00am in the St. Susanna Room to help sort and prepare the donations for delivery. Sign up to help by clicking here!
School Supply Drive
When families are struggling to make ends meet, school supplies often take a backseat. Our goal is to help families with school-aged kids by providing the essentials they need to start the school year off right. This can give them a boost in self-esteem and help our kids succeed in school. Please drop off your school supply donations at the Peace and Justice Kiosk in the Gathering Space by Friday, August 1st.
ADULT AND YOUTH volunteers are needed to sort donations: Wednesday, July 30th, 11:00am-12:30pm in the Schuh Center and Friday, August 1st, 10:30am-Noon in the School Cafeteria
ADULT volunteers are needed to set up, provide assistance to shoppers and tear down Saturday, August 2nd, 9:00am-12:30pm in the School Cafeteria.
